Shamy Noily was born in Tel Aviv, Israel and graduated from UCLA with B.A. Fine Arts. He went on to obtain his Masters in Architecture from UC Berkeley, started his own architecture firm, and redeveloped & managed commercial properties. Upon retirement, he resumed his interest in painting, life drawing, and ceramics.
